I am holder of a B.A. in Bilingual letters (English and French language studies), a DIPES II in language teaching and a M.A. in translation. After 25 years of experience as English language teacher in Government Secondary and high Schools, I started translating as a freelancer and I found it very challenging. So, I enjoyed it. Then, I quitted the public service to start freelancing full-time. In my 7 years as a freelancer, I have translated transcribed, subtitled and standardised terminology for a great number of businesses. Then, I decided that it was high time I acquired better tools for the trade. I got into a translator training school to better prepare for a fruitful career in translation while working, at the same time, on several translation projects with Mr. Yetshe Essiene Jude, Mr. Menyomo Marc, Professor Takougang Jean and a good number of other translators. I am experienced in translating economic, financial, banking, legal, editorial, and technical texts as well as in transcribing and subtitling films. I also have excellent writing skills in my native language. I have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and I am willing to commit to the highest standards in the industry. My clients include agencies, firms, companies, as well as individuals. I'm flexible with my working hours and am happy to work closely with any existing freelancers you work with.
