Freelancing Gig is an online outsourcing platform that puts businesses and employers in contact with a global network of Freelancers. Any member can post a project, and choose from skilled freelancers who can make time estimates for completing the work. It's a mutually arrangement.
Employers can pick of thousands of freelancers who have the exact skills needed to get the job done, without undertaking the expense and commitment of hiring full-time employees.
Freelancers can tap into a readily available source of constant part-time and full-time work opportunities from employers who are specifically seeking them out.
If you have a small business and can't afford to hire a full time staff, don't worry! The power of Freelancinggig is available for small to medium businesses.You can post your work on our portal and ask for the thousands of freelancers to get your job done.
1.Fill out a short registration form. You'll be asked to create a unique username to identify you on our portal. You'll also need to provide a valid email address and confirm that you've read the Terms and Conditions. That's it. You don't need to give any personal information on starting Up.You can signup here. 2.Confirm your email address.When you submit the registration form, there is a email verification link will appears on top of your dashboard.You have to click on the link and we will send you a link to your email address that you enter during registration. Follow the link in the email to activate your Freelancinggig's account. 3.Create your profile. Take a few minutes to provide some information about yourself and/or your business. This is an opportunity to let the Freelancinggig community know who you are as a person and what you're looking for professionally, so fill out your profile completely, and make sure it is free of typos, spelling mistakes, and grammatical errors.
1. Login to your freelancingGig account.
2. Click your profile picture at the top right corner of your dashboard. 3. Select "Settings". 4. Select "Delete Account". 5. Select the appropriate reason for deleting your account. 6. Hit the "Delete Account" button.
You can change your account password by navigating through link "Settings" in the header section under your profile name tab. Clicking on the link will redirects to the "Settings" page.There you can find the "Change Password" section in the left panel.You can change it from there.
You can add your experience and education details on your account by navigating through link "Settings" in the header section under your profile name tab.Clicking on the link will redirects to the "Settings" page and there you can select "Add skills" and add your qualifications.
You can upload your portfolio by navigating through link "Settings" in the header section under your profile name tab. Clicking on the link will redirects to the "Settings" page.There you can select the "Portfolio" section in the left panel and upload your portfolio.
After successful uploading you can see your portfolio on profile under my portfolio section.
For Freelancer :You can manage your jobs by click on the "MyBids" under header section.It will redirects you to "My Bids" page.Here,you can manage your submitted bids. For Client:You can manage your jobs by click on the "My Projects" under header section.It will redirects you to "My Projects" page.Here,you can manage your posted projects.
You can do the following steps:
1. Go to “Projects” tab in the menu bar and click on “My Projects”.
2. Click on the project for which you want to generate an invoice.
3. In the “Awarded Freelancer” section click “milestones” tab.
4. Under “Milestones” tab click on “Release Milestone Request” it will generate the invoice.
5. Check for the details and hit “Submit Request”.
You can give feedback only after you have closed the project. So for hourly projects, if you are a client then first you should close the project and then you will be prompted to give feedback on the freelancer.
If you are a freelancer then once the client has given their feedback, you will be notified about it and have the option to give the feedback on the client as well. Note: Freelancer should give feedback on the client in order to view his feedback given by the client.
You can hire a freelancer for as many hours as you need. While creating your project, under “Project duration”, specify the time you would like to hire the freelancer for. If you are not sure then choose the “not sure” option.
If you are a client then once your final payment is made you will be prompted to give feedback on the freelancer.
If you are a freelancer, once the client has given their feedback, you will be notified about it and have the option to give the feedback to the client as well. Note: Freelancer should give feedback to the client in order to view his feedback given by the client.
A new conversation can only be started by the client. Once you get the bid on your project, you can find the bid notification on your dashboard and can start a conversation by clicking the send message button provided in the notification itself or you can go to the inbox by clicking the envelope icon at the top right of the page and hit the compose button. There you have to choose the project and the recipient name. Now all you have to do is type a message and hit the submit button.
Client can send a private message to any freelancer who has bid on their project.
Freelancers can send a private message to any client whose project they have bid on once the client has contacted them.
Go to the freelancer profile whom you want to invite, there at the top of profile page click on the invite button. After clicking the invite button you’ll have the option to choose the project for which you want to send the invitation. Select the project and hit send invitation. Your invitation has been successfully sent now.
You can do the following steps:
1. Under “Projects” tab click on “My Projects”.
2. Click on the project you want to award.
3. Under “Freelancer Bidding” section there will be the list of the bidders who have bid on your project.
4. Choose the bidder and click on the “Award Project” button to award the project.
Your Escrow payment will refund to your portal account if the awarded freelancer reject on your award request. Refunded amount will be added to your previous amount.You can also see the refunded amount in the transaction history under Finances Section on header bar.
You can deposit funds in freelancinggig.com account using PayPal, Skrill and Credit Card.To make a deposit:
1.Login to freelancinggig.com account.
2.Go to "Finanaces" tab.
3.Click on "Deposit Funds". It will redirects you to "Deposit Money" page .Enter the amount to be deposit (minimum is $5) and follow the on-screen instructions.
Congratulations on hiring a Freelancer for your job and finalizing business terms! Now you have to release First Milestone Request made by the freelancer. You can accept the "milestone release request" on your dashboard made by freelancer.It will redirects to Invoice and after to the Payment Gateway. Freelancer will receive a notification about the milestone release.
FreelancingGig uses notification and messaging system for the communication between clients and freelancers. Showing Milestone Status "Pending" means
the client has not reacted to your "milestone release request" yet. Please reach out to your Client, requesting to release milestone payment.
Milestones are key dates in the job schedule in which work deliverables can be reviewed, approved, and paid for. Milestones can be used to link payments with actual deliverables, or can be used simply as pre-scheduled checkpoints to help with progress and communication.
