About FreelancingGig

Freelancing Gig is an online outsourcing platform that puts businesses and employers in contact with a global network of Freelancers. Any member can post a project, and choose from skilled freelancers who can make time estimates for completing the work. It's a mutually arrangement. Employers can pick of thousands of freelancers who have the exact skills needed to get the job done, without undertaking the expense and commitment of hiring full-time employees. Freelancers can tap into a readily available source of constant part-time and full-time work opportunities from employers who are specifically seeking them out.

If you have a small business and can't afford to hire a full time staff, don't worry! The power of Freelancinggig is available for small to medium businesses.You can post your work on our portal and ask for the thousands of freelancers to get your job done.

Freelancing Gig doesn't provide any work.It only provides a platform to find the work.

1.Fill out a short registration form. You'll be asked to create a unique username to identify you on our portal. You'll also need to provide a valid email address and confirm that you've read the Terms and Conditions. That's it. You don't need to give any personal information on starting Up.You can signup here.
2.Confirm your email address.When you submit the registration form, there is a email verification link will appears on top of your dashboard.You have to click on the link and we will send you a link to your email address that you enter during registration. Follow the link in the email to activate your Freelancinggig's account.
3.Create your profile. Take a few minutes to provide some information about yourself and/or your business. This is an opportunity to let the Freelancinggig community know who you are as a person and what you're looking for professionally, so fill out your profile completely, and make sure it is free of typos, spelling mistakes, and grammatical errors.

User Profile

Your username is permanent.It can't be changed.

To delete your account follow these steps:
    1. Login to your freelancingGig account.
    2. Click your profile picture at the top right corner of your dashboard.
    3. Select "Settings".
    4. Select "Delete Account".
    5. Select the appropriate reason for deleting your account.
    6. Hit the "Delete Account" button.

Our portal freelancinggig doesn't reveal any of the private information to any other. Information of the employer is kept secret and within the portal only.

You can change your account password by navigating through link "Settings" in the header section under your profile name tab. Clicking on the link will redirects to the "Settings" page.There you can find the "Change Password" section in the left panel.You can change it from there.

You can add your experience and education details on your account by navigating through link "Settings" in the header section under your profile name tab.Clicking on the link will redirects to the "Settings" page and there you can select "Add skills" and add your qualifications.

One important part of the account setup process is verifying your email and phone. You have to verify your email and phone with the portal after login.There is verify your account section in the left panel of dashboard.Just click on them to verify your account.

You can upload your portfolio by navigating through link "Settings" in the header section under your profile name tab. Clicking on the link will redirects to the "Settings" page.There you can select the "Portfolio" section in the left panel and upload your portfolio.
After successful uploading you can see your portfolio on profile under my portfolio section.

Managing Gigs

Be creative and explore your talents! You can offer any service you wish as long as it's legal and complies with our terms. There are various categories in our portal,you can browse to get ideas.

It's totally up to you. You can work as much as you want. Many sellers work as freelancer for full time and some keep their 9-5 job while freelancing to make extra money.

You can activate the triple Packages mode from the Pricing section on the Create a Gig page by clicking the 3 Packages toggle. Once you’re in Packages mode, you can set the elements (basic Gig plus the upgrades and revisions) that you will include in that package.

You can price your packages anywhere starting from $5, all the way up to $995.

Keep it simple and descriptive! The name of each package should highlight what is distinctive about that particular package. Try to think about what will catch a buyer’s eye.

You can post maximum 10 number of services/gigs from your account.

Payments and Withdrawals

Freelancing Gig currently using PayPal and Credit Card to fund payments through our portal.

It's free to join FreelancingGig. There is no subscription required or fees to post your services. You keep 85% of each transaction.Feel free to post affordable services.

Buyers pay for orders in advance to FreelancingGig. You may not pay other users directly using any method other than ordering through the FreelancingGig order page. In case you have been asked to use an alternative payment method, please report it immediately. It is highly requested you to transact only using Freelancinggig's Payment System.

If you have funds in your account balance, it will be automatically applied to your next purchase. If the purchase is larger than the amount in your balance, you can use another source of payment to complete the purchase.

Buyers pay FreelancingGig for orders in advance. Once the order is created and started, sellers must fulfill their orders as described in their Gig description and must deliver completed files and/or proof of work using the Deliver Your Order button (located on the Order page).
Once work is delivered, the buyer has respond and post a review.If no response is provided by the buyer within a week then you can raise disputes to FreelancingGig team, our team will look into that. After the order is marked as complete, you can withdraw your funds.

Handling Orders

Uploading files can sometimes fail for various reasons. Sometimes a Gig photo simply doesn't want to upload. Make sure you check the following before asking for further assistance:
Make sure your Flash is up to date on your computer. Flash normally updates automatically for most modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox) but may still have limitations in older versions of modern browsers (Internet Explorer). Disable pop up blockers for FreelancingGig.com or allow uploads/downloads through your Firewall/Anti-Virus protector from FreelancingGig.com. Make sure your image is a jpeg,png,gif. Clear your cookies for FreelancingGig.com - sometimes cookies can hold on to a "session" where your browser thinks it's still loading an image file. Refreshing your page helps clear the session, but in most cases, clearing your cookies helps.

Ownership and limitations: Unless clearly stated otherwise in the Gig description text, when the work is delivered, the buyer is granted all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to, copyrights for the work delivered from the seller and the seller waives any and all moral rights therein. All transfer and assignment of intellectual property to buyer shall be subject to full payment for the Gig.

Within the Gig page, you will see a "Contact Me" button. We recommend contacting your seller before placing your order, especially if you have specific requirements.

If you are not happy with your delivery, you can always ask the seller for revisions. You can also raise disputes for any further issues with your order through our portal.

Once an order is marked as complete and a review is left, the buyer will have the option to leave a tip for the seller.If you want to apraise the freelancers work,you can apply tip on them.

To order a Gig, simply go to a seller’s Gig page and click the Order Now button and, if available, select the package you wish to buy. Note: If you have any questions about the Gig, you can contact the seller with the link provided on the Gig page.


You can view your messages by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of your page after you logged in.

A new conversation can only be started by the client/buyer.They can contact seller/freelancer from their profile or from their gig-details page by clicking on the contact me button.

Sellers cannot contact new buyers. The only way to communicate with a buyer is if an order is initiated, a "Conversation" thread is created and you will be able to communicate with the buyer. You may also contact the buyer if the buyer contacts you first.

No, you can’t remove or delete the message once it has been sent.
