My work experiences can be dated back from early 2010 to lately 2014 when I was a full time teacher of Buddhist philosophy of Peace and Value Based Education for Buddhist primary schools. During that time, I spent most of my free times and weekends to share value based education discourses and participatory citizenship with the local community in some provinces throughout Cambodia. I also had some media related experiences. I had been working as an orator and trainer for a radio program for Monk’s Heart Group Association in Cool Fm100.7 Radio channel for 3 years since 2012 to 2015. These experiences in social works allowed me to have more understanding about the root causes of Cambodian stagnation in political and economic extractive system. Furthermore, I pursued my master degree in global politics in the Philippines and other master degree in responsible management and sustainable economic development in Costa Rica, which equipped me with additionally considerable knowledge and experiences with regards to global and regional humanitarian contexts.

Upon my return from abroad in early 2017, I have worked in numbers of research projects and field works relating to community based development sectors. I had involved in a development research survey for the Cambodian Saemaul Udong Project of the Royal University of Phnom Penh (funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency: KOICA), a research survey for baseline assessment of the capacity of the humanitarian actors in emergency response in Cambodia (funded by Asian Disaster Preparedness Center and Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation (BMGF)), and the climate change adaption and response of the people in Kratie province in Cambodia (funded by Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research). These research experiences, I believe, are additional qualities for political officer position in the British Embassy.
